The 31st Annual meeting of Bowls New Zealand will be held on Saturday 12th September 2026 at the Bowls New Zealand offices, 105A Jervois Road, Herne Bay, Auckland, commencing at 10am.

From planning campaigns to supporting athletes behind the scenes, Julie is at the heart of the Blackjacks environment. As High Performance Manager, her focus goes far beyond performance—creating a supportive, high-trust environment where athletes can thrive on the biggest stage.

With a lifelong involvement in bowls that began through family and developed into a passion for coaching, Mike has dedicated years to helping athletes grow, perform, and reach their potential. A World Champion, Commonwealth Games medalist, and multiple national title holder, he has transitioned from competing at the highest international level into a High Performance coaching role, reflecting a deep commitment to development, accountability, and excellence in the game.
