Entries are now open for the 2027 Summerset Nationals, with the National Singles & Pairs returning to Auckland and North Harbour in January, followed by the National Fours & Mixed Pairs in Wellington in February.
The National Singles & Pairs will be played from 2–9 January 2027, with Howick Bowling Club serving as event headquarters. The National Fours & Mixed Pairs will follow from 17–26 February 2027, with Naenae Bowling Club acting as event headquarters

The 2027 programme includes several key changes: both the National Fours and Mixed Pairs will become five-day events, with the Mixed Pairs final expected to finish around 12pm on Friday 26th February.
The Fours playing format remains largely unchanged, with the additional competition day providing more time for post-section play.
The Mixed Pairs Conditions of Play have also been updated for 2027, with games increasing from 14 to 16 ends, a three-hour time limit, and dead/killed ends re-spotted rather than replayed.

• Wed 17: Men’s & Women’s Fours qualifying, 3 rounds
• Thu 18: Men’s & Women’s Fours qualifying, 3 rounds
• Fri 19: Men’s & Women’s Fours post-section, 3 rounds
• Sat 20: Women’s Semi-finals & Final; Men’s Quarter-finals & Semi-finals
• Sun 21: Men’s Final & Women’s Reserve Day
National Mixed Pairs | 22–26 February
• Mon 22: Qualifying, 3 rounds
• Tue 23: Qualifying, 3 rounds
• Wed 24: Post-section, 3 Rounds
• Thu 25: Post-section, 3 Rounds
• Fri 26: Final at 9:00am, expected to conclude by approximately 12:00pm
