Summerset National Awards | Club Person of the Year | Tracey Macrae

As secretary, Tracey has been the person who kept the club running smoothly behind the scenes.  

From managing club correspondence and governance requirements to maintaining the club's social media presence, she has demonstrated a fantastic ability to multi-task!

Her work has extended well beyond administration. Tracey has embraced every opportunity to support the club, whether that meant volunteering behind the bar, organising and running twilight bowls programmes, assisting with events, or stepping into roles wherever help was needed.  

One of Tracey's greatest strengths is her ability to bring people together. Friendly, approachable, and always willing to assist, she has created an environment where members feel supported and valued.  

Tracey has also embraced digital platforms to improve member engagement and keep the club connected.  

What makes her contribution even more remarkable is that she has achieved all of this while continuing to compete successfully as a player.  

Representing Foxton Beach at centre and national events, she has combined her administrative responsibilities with an ongoing commitment to the competitive side of the game, serving as an excellent ambassador for both her club and our sport.

As Tracey steps down from the secretary role, she leaves behind a legacy of dedicated service, strong leadership, and meaningful club development.  

The positive impact she has had on Foxton Beach Bowling Club will continue to be felt for many years.
