Bluff Hill Bowling Club

Bluff Hill Bowling Club is the oldest bowling club in Hawke’s Bay—and the one with the greatest views. Our grass green is situated on a clifftop five minutes from the Napier CBD and overlooking beautiful Hawke Bay.

Over the summer season, bowlers can enjoy regular club day roll ups on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons and Twilight Bowls on Thursday evenings against this panoramic backdrop.

The premium event of the year at Bluff Hill is our fabulous Art Deco Tournament, a mixed fours event played on the Friday of Napier’s world-famous Art Deco Week in mid-February.

If you are thinking of taking up lawn bowls, then we will be delighted to introduce you to the game. Visitors, social bowlers and new members are always welcome. We can supply the bowls; you just need flat-soled shoes.
