Welcome to Kawakawa Bowling Club!
Kawakawa is the oldest Bowling Club in the Far North having been established in 1912. Like many clubs, it has had its ups and downs and is presently on an “up” with a growing and active membership of 30 full playing members and about the same number of social members.
Newcomers will find a community of friendly, welcoming members who are very willing to help out new players find their feet. We also have a strong social side to the club if trying for a world title is not your thing.

Programme of six open tournaments a year and some domestic days which are more like a picnic.
Our mainstay is our twilight bowls played on a Thursday evening from 5:30 until 7:00ish during daylight savings. You can hear the music and cheering from the main street.
One grass green and another which is presently retired.
Our clubhouse, bar and function area are well uswed by the local community and can cater for 150 patrons.
