Mangawhai Bowls

Set in the beautiful surroundings of Mangawhai Heads, our club offers social and competitive lawn bowls, regular events, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere for members and visitors alike.

Mangawhai Bowls has been at the heart of the local community for generations.  Whether you're a seasoned bowler or trying the sport for the first time, you'll find a welcoming atmosphere, well-maintained greens, and plenty of opportunities to get involved.

As Part of Bowls Northland members can participate in Centre events, some of which we host at our club.

Our Greens & Facilities - Mangawhai Bowls offers two well-maintained grass greens and one all weather carpet green.  Practice roll-ups are available outside playing times, allowing members to enjoy flexible access to the greens.

The Club provides a welcoming space to relax after games and connect with fellow members.

New to Lawn Bowls?  New players are always welcome at Mangawhai Bowls.  We offer coaching and guidance to help beginners learn the basics of the game in a supportive and friendly environment.  

Business House Bowls - A great opportunity for you to get a group of colleagues or friends together and enjoy a social game of bowls.  

Our Business House Bowls commences in October and February each year and runs for 8 weeks.
