Opunake Bowling Club

Welcome to the Opunake Bowling Club.

We are situated at 34 Gisborne Tce. Opunake 4616 in the small coastal town on State Highway 45 in the Taranaki region.

Opunake is a perfect summer destination with the beach on our doorstep.

We offer great hospitality with an increasing amount of small businesses catering to unique experiences including a gin distillery & art studio, specialist cafes, surfing opportunities as well as our coastal walkway and of cause sports facilities such as ours.

Our Greenkeepers work to a high standard to keep our one green at a competitive level but we also offer our wider community an opportunity to play bowls in our annual Twilight competition for non-bowlers.

We offer Bar Facilities and cater to private bookings as well as offering our facilities for Community Fundraisers.

Our Club Day is on a Sunday and we welcome new members.

In 2028 Opunake Bowling Club will celebrate 125 years and we hope many of our past and present members will join us to acknowledge the occasion.
