Piha Bowling Club, affectionately known by locals as "The Bowler," has been at the heart of the Piha community since 1955, where bowls, friendship, and community come together in one of New Zealand's most iconic coastal settings. Nestled within the Piha Domain, our beautifully maintained natural grass green welcomes everyone, from first-time bowlers and social players to experienced competitors.
Founded by local pioneers, including the legendary Tiger O'Brien, the club has a proud history of bringing people together through bowls, community events, live music, and memorable social occasions. Today, that tradition continues with a welcoming atmosphere, regular club days, competitions, coaching, and opportunities to simply enjoy a roll-up with friends.
