Bowls Taupiri was established in 1928 nearly 95 years ago on our current site , during the intervening years the original clubrooms were built in 1957 with further additions in 1970.
As was the norm in those days the club was men's only, with a ladies club formed in the early 1950's, they operated separately until the late 1990's when they joined together as one club that continues today.
The club was 2022 in the fortunate position of having an area of land surplus to their requirements sold for a housing development providing funding to replace the green with a carpet surface, along with an upgrade of the pavilion.
