Waitarere Beach Bowling Club

At the heart of our growing beach community, our club is a vibrant hub where people come together to connect, socialise, and belong. From Tai Chi and yoga to men's and women's groups, fishing club gatherings, and regular coaching sessions, there's always something happening.

Over the summer, our popular Twilight Bowls competition attracts more than 50 players each week, bringing together people of all ages for eight weeks of fun, friendship, and competition. We also host quiz nights, comedy shows, live music, business functions, weddings, funerals, and annual ANZAC services, making the club a valued venue for the wider community.

While we're proud to have 50 playing members, our family extends far beyond the green, with more than 380 social and community members. Recognised as Bowls Kapiti Coast's Emerging Club of the Year, we're proud to be a club that's not just about bowls—it's about bringing people together.
